The Boxee team – developers of the popular media streaming software that works with Macs and the Apple TV – last night announced D-Link as their first hardware partner (with an Apple TV-competing device that’s equipped with more features) and took the wraps off an all-new beta of the software. Announced at the Music Hall of Williamsburg yesterday, the? Boxee Box by D-Link, is the first of what the team hopes becomes a family of products using the Boxee software, Distorted Loop reports .
