Twitter for iPhone gets iOS4 multitasking

The latest Multitasking-savvy app is one of those you just might use — a lot — Twitter for iPhone is now one of the happy few apps updated for iOS 4’s multitasking feature. Formerly known as Tweetie before its acquisition and subsequent release as a free app from Twitter HQ, Twitter for iPhone also supports the Retina Display of the iPhone 4. What this means of course is that you can have your Twits in waiting in the background while you do other stuff, it also means you can chill out to music while trying to sum up your life in 140 characters or less. You also get Realtime search, Top Tweets, trending topics and maps show whats happening now everywhere and nearby. Enjoy.
